It definitely takes a Rockstar to be able to purchase a swanky 17,500 square foot ski chalet, which is exactly what billionaire Russell Wiener, creator of Rockstar Energy Drink did. The 6-bedroom ski-in ski-out home was developed and then sold by the Iluminus Group in April for $39.6 million, making it the most expensive home to ever be purchased in Utah. The home lies on 5 acres in the Colony at White Pine Canyon development inside the Park City Mountain Resort. Amenities in the home include a bowling alley, an indoor sports court, and an entire “wellness wing”, which includes an indoor-outdoor lap pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and steam room. Each bedroom is complete with its own terrace and an outdoor fire pit. Mr. Wiener advocates for Utah and called it "pro family and pro-business" and expects the real estate market to keep growing as others are fleeing high tax states. He considered this a purchase a great investment.

Have you heard? Something BIG is coming! The Astra Tower, slated to be the tallest building in Salt Lake City (and Utah for that matter), is about to offer some astronomically swanky digs for downtowners. The estimated 450-foot skyscraper, which will offer 372 “luxury” apartments, will be located directly west of the Maverik building on 200 South and State Street, where the old Carl's Jr. used to stand. Crews broke ground (with gold shovels of course) on January 12, 2022 to bring us one of Salt Lake City’s most fabulous and forward-thinking buildings.
